Safeguarding Services is committed to advising and training staff and volunteers from all organisations that come into contact with children so that personnel have a clear understanding of their role in and responsibility for protecting the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people
Safeguarding Services offers the following support to schools, communities, businesses and organisations that work with children;
- Expert advice and support to help organisations exceed their safeguarding obligations and stay abreast of best practice.
- Training staff and volunteers in all aspects of safeguarding best practice.
- Independent, impartial investigations into allegations of reportable conduct or misconduct that may involve reportable conduct.
Regardless of age, race, ethnicity or religion everyone has a role to play in protecting a child from abuse or neglect.
