Safeguarding Services

Every human being, including those with disabilities and children, has the right to live a full and productive life within an environment that nurtures growth, promotes happiness and security, and builds friendships.

Safeguarding Services provides specialist training, investigative, and advisory services to organisations that have a duty of care to safeguard children, young people, vulnerable adults, and people with disabilities from abuse.

We are committed to advising and training staff and volunteers from all organisations that come into contact with these groups, so that personnel have a clear understanding of their role in and responsibility for protecting the safety and wellbeing of all people.

Safeguarding Services offers the following support to schools, communities, businesses, and organisations that work with children, young people, vulnerable adults, and people with disabilities:

  • Expert advice and support to help organisations exceed their safeguarding obligations and stay abreast of best practice.
  • Training staff and volunteers in all aspects of safeguarding best practice, including how to support and include children and people with disabilities.
  • Independent, impartial investigations into allegations of reportable conduct or misconduct.
