At Safeguarding Services, Tayla conducts detailed and methodical investigations into allegations of misconduct, child safeguarding concerns and compliance-related matters.
Her work supports organisations to make evidence-based decisions that prioritise safety, fairness and professional integrity.
Tayla has been with Safeguarding Services since 2021, progressing from Investigative Assistant to Investigator. This progression reflects her strong investigative capability, attention to detail and commitment to best-practice safeguarding.
Her role involves conducting inquiries into professional standards, misconduct and child safeguarding matters, including evidence review, witness engagement, data analysis and report preparation.
Tayla’s experience also includes working with Victoria Police as a Student Intern, as well as investigative work across private and regulatory environments. This exposure has strengthened her understanding of investigative procedures, ethical decision-making and trauma-informed practice.

Formal education:
- Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology – University of Melbourne
- Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours) – Swinburne University of Technology (in progress)
